In Surinder Mehta is a cool headed family man who never misses a chance to catch a movie or an outing on weekends with the family or enjoy Sunday evening with family and friends. “I wake up before 7 in the morning and so through my bunch of dailies along with the breakfast and reach office around 10 to give enough time to my team to settle down”, says Mehta. The Mehta are a regular at the Tea House and Bukhara. “We are not a big time fitness freaks but follow a set routine that keeps us physically and mentally fit”, says Sneha, his pretty daughter. One of the reasons why Surinder Mehta always hits the right chord could be his love for Karaoke singing. “I’ think compatibility is what count of success of a marriage whether arranged or love. And that also holds true in any business, compatibility of organization”, opines Mehta. While he dominates the boardroom, wife Archana takes care of some Administration related areas, Employee welfare and Interiors. “We have married for 26 years now and blessed with a lovely daughter and a handsome son. Sneha did her BBA from IILM followed by her Masters in Management studies in marketing management from IILM. Right now she is helping her father in the business in the personnel department and in the Aircraft marketing activities and is also working on a garment accessories export business idea. |

Last month she traveled to Vienna with her father for their regular business meeting with “Diamond Aircraft” and also to negotiate the purchase of an aircraft for their own use. Rohan is currently in the final year, pursuing engineering at Oxford after having done his schooling at Switzerland”, says Archana Mehta. The Mehta also love vacationing. “Recently, we’ve been to Singapore and Australia and had a gala time there”, said Sneha. On being asked about the marriage plans of their daughter, Mrs. And Mr. Mehta said. “Proposals from decent families are always welcome”. The Mehta family keeps a low profile despite being close to the who’s who of Indian politics, government and business circles. True. As they say actions speak louder than words..
