Systems with / without batteries,
etc have been some of our achievements.
On
the engineering side, we have been able to indigenize Main Oil
Pump (MOP) impeller assembly for up
200 MW steam turbines for BHEL which was being import from Germany till now.
On the social and charitable segment,
we have developed a high-tech polyurethane-based
prosthesis called the "Range foot"
which is undoubtedly the best foot
being produced in the country today
matching global standards. This was
recently launched by Smt. Sheila Dikshit,
Chief Minister of Delhi.
Do you have an R&D programmed?
R&D is an ongoing activity. Our recent achievements
as I just explained are the results
from such R&D activities in the
group. For instance, we have developed
energy management solutions for power
generation stations,

slag monitoring solutions for steel
plants and we are very close to local
development of MOP impeller assembly
for steam turbines of 250MW &
500 MW these impeller assemblies
will be import substitution products
as these are currently imported from
Germany. There are quite a few other
important R&D activities underway
which will substantially contribute
to the group's growth plans in the
years ahead.
Is there any
recent technological advances in your
line of business?
Technological advances
can be felt and seen in our line of
activity cannot be an exception, more
so since we already work in very high
tech product lines where new developments
and new innovations are seen with
relatively much shorter intervals
