Committed to Build a
Better Tomorrow
|
Setting up
a company single-handedly, working towards
its success and then delving into varied
areas of activity to emerge as a reputed
business conglomerate -this has been
an oft-tread - Path by some of the renowned
business barons like the Ambanis, Tatas,
Birlas and Brars. The supreme quality
of the product/ service offered, and
an ubiquitous presence in almost every
other industrial sector, are the common
virtues running through these high profile
business conglomerates. 'Prime Group',
which was ensconced in 1986, differs
from these consortia, in that, apart
from a commercial element of business,
it is espousing a patriotic purpose
by converging world's best technology
to India. The impetus behind this consortium,
Surinder Mehta, Founder Chairman, despite
being honored by several awards and
eulogized by clients, is devoid of flamboyance.
A person with a heart of gold, Mehta
is also for humanitarian causes. A non-profit
organization in the name of International
Society for Human Welfare ‘ISHWAR’,
has been put together under his aegis
to help physically challenged children.
Today, Prime Group is miles ahead of
its competitors, with a number of activities
under the purview of its operation.
It caters to a wide horizon of industries
with colours of electronics, software
development and exports, finance and
microprocessor controlled prosthetics,
whereas the flagship company, PCI Ltd,
is a well known name in the power sector.
In a generic sense, the Prime Group
has a reputation of 'providing tomorrow's
solutions today'.
In its endless pursuit for quality,
service and overall performance, the
group has earned prestigious recognitions
like Millennium Award 2000 of the All
India Achiever's Conference, Arch of
Europe Gold Star, Priyadarshini Indira
Gandhi Award, Gem of India Award, Rashtriya
Gaurav Award and Ratna Shiromani Award
amongst numerous others. Mehta's face
gleams with pride when he talks about
the group's esteemed clients -some of
the leading corporations, who have reposed
their faith in the hi-tech products
offered by the group. To mention a few,
they are: Air India, AIIMS, Apollo Tyres,
Apollo Hospital, Central Railways, Escorts,
Indian Army, ISRO and Larson & Toubro
Ltd.
Poised
to provide technological advantages
to his fellow citizens, Mehta asserts,
"Our aim is to bring in the most modem
technology into the country and adapt
it domestically to the fullest extent."
Not very Publicity conscious, a low
profile Mehta chooses to differ from
others of his ilk. Mehta's perpetual
support system is his better half, Archana,
who is also a Director in the group
companies. The tenacity of this group,
in the business circuit, is an evidence
of the respect it commands from discerning
customers. It would not be an exaggeration
to state that Prime Group is perforce
a paragon in its metier. No wonder,
Mehta preens himself for achieving this
commendable feat. |
