Hon’ble Shri Lovely Jee, Minister for Education, Govt. of Delhi, Shri Aggarwal ji, President of this TT association, Respected Principal of the Hansraj Model School, Distinguished Guests and my dear players participating in this tournament and the large number of sports enthusiasts who have all collected here to cheer the finalists and to honour the winners,

Firstly, heartiest congratulations to the organizers of this tournament for organizing this event and in the process providing an opportunity to the players to exhibit and to enhance their skills and sportsmanship before all of us and in the process to have warmed up the atmosphere all around on the eve of the Commonwealth Games to be held early next month.

I am not here to make any long and boring speech on this interesting evening but will only like to say one thing and that is that you sportsmen and women, by participating in such events, not only improve upon your own skills, your reflexes and try to achieve your carrier goals through the medium of sports, but you also provide a lot of motivation to hundreds and thousands of others who see you playing and fighting for a win and this in turn generates a fighting and winning spirit in the society as a whole.

Frankly speaking, I came here to watch only some interesting Table Tennis matches but the beautiful dance performances by the young students from this school and particular the solo performance by Priyanka was an added bonus and I must compliment you all for such wonderful performances to make this evening all the more interesting and lively.

You all sportmen and women are doing a great job by playing and I complement you for your contribution to the growth and motivation that you provide the society through the medium of sports. My best wishes to the finalist. Only one can win but to reach the finals is itself an achievement and route to a bigger success in the next such tournaments. All the best to the finalists and my compliments to all those who participated as players or as organizers. Keep it up !

And finally, my sincere thanks to Mr. Aggarwal and his colleagues for having invited me here to preside over this function. I assure them full support in their future endeavours from Prime Group as our humble contribution to encourage sports in the country.
