Aqueous Circuit Board Washer and Optional DI Water Preparation Unit
 • Fast and Economical Flux Removal

 • Quiet Operation

 • Precision Controller for Consistent and Predictable Results

 • Companion Deionizer and Heater Module

The Model 9300 offers fast, efficient, and consistent cleaning of rosin or water soluble organic fluxes and other contaminants from circuit boards. With its built in chemistry storage and elevated loading door, the 9300 is easier than ever to operate. When coupled to the Model 9010 water preparation unit, the 9300 is a complete and compact system occupying a minimum "footprint" of valuable floor space.

 Precise Process Control and Documentation
To meet modern requirements for board cleanliness, manual control is not adequate. The totally programmable system is designed into the Model 9300's control unit monitors and controls all cycle functions, including final resistivity, prewash and wash times, and number of rinse and dry cycles plus chemistry concentration (with chem. feed option). All programming is done by the operator, who enters the lot number and the cycle parameters on the controller's front panel. The rest is automatic and accurate. A printout is also made reflecting all programmed parameters and values.

While operating, the Model 9300 controller indicates the current cycle status on the easy-to-read LED display. At the end of the cycle, it prints the resistivities for each cycle and the final resistivity, wash and rinse water temperatures, actual time per cycle, drying time plus chemistry added, if any. The 9300, with the optional Waste Classifier, also permits diverting waste water for treatment, if desired. If a Model 9010 is used, resistivity of the incoming water is also displayed and recorded; installing the automatic chem. feed option, in addition, provides information on percentage of chemistry programmed and added. With the RS-232 Port, all this information can be transferred to a remote computer for data storage and retrieval.

Add the Model 9010 for a Complete, Integrated System
The 9010 DI Water Preparation Unit attaches directly to the side of the Model 9300, making it a compact and self-contained washing system. All that's necessary is to pipe water into the cabinet, and the 9010 supplies all needs for hot DI water for continuous operation - no external heaters or filters required. With the 9010 attached, the 9300 controller is handily positioned in the 9010 panel at a convenient eye-level viewing height. The 9010 features a 9-inch mixed-bed filter with quick disconnects for bottle changes. Fully insulated against heat loss, the 9010 has a 5-gallon stainless-steel heater tank with 30 KW of heating capacity. Front panel controls include a digital thermostat and an on/off switch with indicator. The Model 9300 employs a 7-day clock to turn on both power and water to the 9010 before shift start and off after shift stop.

 Locked in to the Future
AAT's 9000 series of washers, dryers, and water treatment systems is modular so that expansion units and capabilities can be added at any time. The Model 9300, for example can be upgraded by adding the Model 9010, and internal dryer (the Model 9040), the Model 9050 Turbo Dryer, and others. Furthermore, the 9300 can also be factory-upgraded into a Model 9600 Closed-Loop system, if it should later become desirable.

 Basic Construction and Cleaning Features
Like all AAT's cleaning systems, the Model 9300 combines the best in materials and engineering.

 1. AAT washers clean boards on edge so that cohesional and adhesional forces remove contaminants from small spaces and prevents paddling of cleaning agent. There is also better draining with less drag out and more even cleaning with no side-to-side differences.

 2. AAT's washers use dual, counter-rotating wash arms driven by a high capacity pump to flood every assembly at a flow rate of 60 gallons per minute (only 2 1/2 fallons are actually used per cycle). The arms rotate at a minimum speed of 24 rpm - a rate calculated as optimal for fast thorough cleaning. The axial pump is driven by 1/3 hp heavy-duty motor to deliver the maximum amount of water with a minimum of expended energy.

 3. Loading has been made easier in our spacious, logically-structured stainless-steel interiors, which accept boards of nearly any size, The baskets are strong, heavy gauge wire coated with Plastisor, a durable, rubberized material that resists cracking, chipping, or peeling. Other features include loop-design removable rack dividers and protective cradle and a optional view window that allows visibility of the interior.

 4. To ensure quality and reliability, every ECD washer undergoes a complete inspection. And before shipping, each washer is run through a 100% test of every cycle to ensure that performance matched design specifications
